Textile exports soar by 33.07pc to $1.69b
Pakistan’s textile exports have surged by 33.07 percent on year-on-year basis and reached $1.69 billion in July of the ongoing fiscal year, from $1.27 billion during the same month of the previous fiscal.
After continuous decline of almost three years on year-over year basis during the months of July, Pakistan’s textile exports have recorded considerably increase in July 2025, official source told The Nation. In July 2022-23, Pakistan exports were $1.48 billion, in July 2023-24, these were $ 1.31 billion, while in 2024-25 the exports were $1.27 billion, the source said.
On month-over-month basis, the exports have increased by 10.45 percent, from $1.53 billion in June 2025 to $ 1.69 billion in July 2025, In July of the FY2024-25, the textile exports were $1.27 billion which have surged by 33.07 percent in July 2025-26 and reached $1.69 billion.
Previously, in the months of April and November of the FY2021-22, Pakistan’s textile export had touched $1.74 billion mark. While for the following three FYs, Pakistan has never reached to the figure of $1.74 billion.
In the previous three fiscal years i.e 2022-23,2023-24 and 2024-25, Pakistan textile exports had once gone to $1.68 billion per month, while for the remaining months they were well below the mark and dropped to as much low as $1.18 billion per month.
In the FY2021-22, Pakistan’s total textile exports were $19.3 billion, which had dropped to $16.51 billion in FY 2022-23, but surged a bit to $16.68 billion in the FY2023-24. In the FY2024-25, the textile export had reached $17.88 billion.
