Pakistan invited to 2025 China E-Commerce Streamer Contest
ISLAMABAD, Jul 5 (Gwadar Pro) - Pakistan has been invited to participate in the China E-Commerce Streamer Contest for the first time since the launch of the national competition in 2020.
TANG, a Chinese education technology company and organiser of the Contest’s overseas tracks in Pakistan, will host the 2025 China E-Commerce Streamer Contest - Pakistan Invitational Tournament. The launching ceremony is planned in July while the competitions will span four to five months and multiple rounds.
The Streamer Contest is a national-level event endorsed by China’s Ministry of Commerce. Since its inception in 2020, it has successfully held four editions, cumulatively attracting over 17,500 participants and generating RMB 11.4 billion in livestream sales.
The 2025 edition marks the inaugural launch of overseas tracks, covering core Belt and Road countries including Pakistan, Russia, Thailand, and Malaysia.
The Tournament aims at connecting the Global E-commerce Ecosystem, empowering cross-border streamer talent, and reshaping new industrial chains.
Pakistani streamers can compete in two tracks; Livestream E-commerce Track, focusing on evaluating industry knowledge, product value communication, audience engagement and conversion, data operation analysis and supply chain awareness, and/or Short Video Creation Track, focusing on evaluating market insight, content creativity and planning, cultural element integration, video production and dissemination and marketing effectiveness assessment.
Both tracks feature expert evaluations, platform data analysis, audience interaction metrics, and cash awards with internationally-recognized certificates.
The Global Final will be scored using live streaming data, total live sales, on-site audience voting, and a 5-7 person professional judging panel. The Global Finals will be held in Fuzhou, Fujian.
Before moving to the Overseas and Global Finals, Pakistani participants will first compete nationally by live streaming 3-5 short videos, showcasing tourist attractions, local cuisine, or specialty products via their registered platform and account, or through the Contest's dedicated live streaming room.
In the national final, participants must select at least one official product and either livestream its sale on their own platforms or participate in the Contest's dedicated livestream.
This contest will help build Pakistan’s next generation of digital entrepreneurs and connecting them to China’s powerful e-commerce ecosystem under the Belt & Road cooperation, according to TANG Pakistan Country Head Eng. Mansoor ul Hassan Siddique.
