Pakistani delegation gets enthusiastic response in China
LAHORE, March 4 (Gwadar Pro) - A delegation of food entrepreneurs and exporters from South Punjab is receiving an enthusiastic response during its 10-day business tour across 10 cities in China.
The delegation, led by Shahid Imran, Convener of the Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s (FPCCI) Regional Food Committee, is focused on strengthening bilateral trade ties and expanding Pakistan’s footprint in the Chinese food market.
According to updates, the delegation is showcasing a diverse range of South Punjab’s agricultural produce, including organic and traditional food items, which have gained international recognition. The region’s snacks, known for their distinctive flavors and high quality, have attracted significant interest from Chinese importers and businesses.
The visit has facilitated numerous business-to-business (B2B) meetings, allowing Pakistani exporters to connect potential Chinese buyers and distributors.
In addition to securing trade deals, the delegation is engaging in discussions on reducing tariffs, streamlining trade processes, and enhancing logistical support to ensure smoother export operations between the two countries.
Shahid Imran emphasized that this initiative is part of broader efforts to bolster economic collaboration and unlock new export opportunities for Pakistan’s food industry.
