Chinese Embassy donates 20,000 health kits to female students in Balochistan
ISLAMABAD, Aug 1 (Gwadar Pro) - The Chinese Embassy in Pakistan has donated 20,000 health kits to schoolgirls in Balochistan under the “She Power” initiative. This effort aims to enhance the health conditions of girls, promote the use of hygiene products, and raise health awareness in the region.
To mark the beginning of this project, an initiation ceremony was held at the Chinese Embassy on Wednesday, with Speaker of the National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq as the chief guest.
Notable attendees included H.E. Jiang Zaidong, the Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan; Senator Saleem Mandviwalla, Chairman of the Senate Standing Committee on Finance; and Ms. Raheela Durrani, the Minister of Education for Balochistan. Additionally, representatives from the teaching community in Balochistan and various Chinese companies were present.
Speaker NA, in his address lauded the initiatives taken by the Chinese Embassy. He said the two countries are enjoying exceptional cooperative partnership in all sectors of economic development and human-welfare. He also mentioned of the regular and extensive inter-action between the National Assembly of Pakistan and the National People’s Congress of China.
Chinese Ambassador Jiang Zaidong reiterated the firm commitment of the Chinese government to giving further boost to the bilateral relations.
