30 students of Mehran UET to study in China on fully-funded scholarship

A tripartite agreement of CCTE Modern China-Pakistan Dual Diploma Joint Technical Education Program was signed at Pakistani Embassy, Beijing, on October 28.

Under the agreement, 30 students of Mining Department at Mehran University of Engineering and Technology, Jamshoro, Sindh will study their final year (5th year) at the Yunnan Vocational Institute of Energy Technology, China on fully-funded Chinese government scholarship. The agreement was facilitated by TANG Int’l Education Group.

The courses at both collaborating institutions have been designed in a way that the students will get three-year diploma from China in one year, TANG’s Regional Director Sindh and Balochistan, Mansoor ul Hassan Siddiqui told Gwadarpro, who attended the event online.

The students will get a one-year Higher Diploma in China, culminating in a CCTE 4+1 Degree + Diploma Joint Education Program in Intelligent Coal Mining.

CCTE stands for Chinese Cooperation, Chinese Language and Commercial Culture, Technology and Training, and Education and Employment.
