Collaboration between China-Pakistan varsities gearing up

ISLAMABAD, August 12 (Gwadar Pro) - Higher education institutions of China and Pakistan have geared up mutual collaborations as universities from both sides have signed several agreements during the last few days.

On August 11, the Health Services Academy (HSA), reported that it has signed a document of understanding with Shenyang Urban Construction University (SYUCU), China, for trainings of designing health facilities in Pakistan.

On August 10, University of Agriculture, Faisalabad (UAF) signed a Letter of Intent with Qingdao Agricultural University, China, to carry out academic exchange and cooperation in teaching, research, and training for the advancement and dissemination of learning.

On August 9, Quaid-e-Azam University (QAU), Islamabad signed a MoU with Southwest Petroleum University, China, to foster cooperative academic and research ventures. 

A five-member delegation from Southwest Petroleum University, China, recently visited QAU for the official signing ceremony. The collaboration will include faculty and student exchange and training programs, QAU said.

A day earlier, a delegation of universities of Liaoning, China, visited Bahria University, Islamabad to look out for possible joint collaboration, Hassan Daud Butt, Associate Professor at the Bahria University posted.
