Proud to be part of Pak-China Collaborative Film Ba’tie Girl: Asma Khan

ISLAMABAD, Aug 8 (Gwadar Pro)n -  Asma Khan, a renowned makeup artist and fashion designer has expressed her utmost pride in her involvement with the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) Cultural Caravan and her contribution to the first-ever collaborative Pakistan-China feature movie, “Ba’tie Girl”. Khan highlighted these achievements as significant milestones in her career.

Ms. Khan’s educational background includes a degree in fashion design from Hunerkada College of Visual & Performing Arts; she has done numerous international fashion photo shoots as well.

“I’ve always possessed an artistic mindset since childhood, fostering a continuous flow of creative and unique ideas. This predisposition has aptly equipped me for my current role and shaped my identity,” she stated.

“I like working on both Eastern and Western fashion because the idea of design is to be versatile and not to restrict yourself at any point”, she said adding that her wardrobe has also been featured in Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and in other artists’ music videos too.

Aasma Khan noted that the Pakistani fashion industry must strive to keep pace with its Chinese counterpart, as it currently lags considerably behind. “Chinese designers are unparalleled in today’s landscape, and we are fortunate to have China as not only a neighboring nation but also a brotherly one,” she remarked.  

“My advice to newcomers would be to maintain consistency and persevere diligently, as hard work is the path to realizing your desired outcomes,” she concluded.
