Pakistan-China Friendship Park inaugurated in Karachi
KARACHI, June 14 (Gwadar Pro) - Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tessori and Chinese Consul General in Karachi, Yang Yundong, inaugurated the Pakistan-China Friendship Park on Kashmir Road on Tuesday afternoon (June 13).
In his address, Governor Tessori remarked that the relationship between China and Pakistan is strong. He stated that the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) completed the Pak-China Friendship Park to further reinforce this bond.
"The park represents our enduring and warm friendship with the People's Republic of China," he said. "The foundation stone was laid on Chinese New Year, signaling to the citizens of China our intent to maintain a relationship of love and friendship."
"We aim to develop Karachi in collaboration with friendly countries. Their support will lead to more future development projects, enhancing the city's beauty," he added.
Governor Tessori noted that Karachi is twinned with two Chinese cities, Beijing and Shanghai. "It's a matter of pride to dedicate the Pakistan-China Friendship Park to our great neighbor, China," he mentioned.
The Consul General of China in Karachi, Yang Yundong, congratulated the Municipality of Karachi on the park's inauguration, which he said would strengthen the countries' friendship. He highlighted that Pakistan and China have consistently proven to be ideal strategic partners.
