ISLAMABAD, Apr. 19 (Gwadar Pro) - As a sign of respect for local religions, LONGi, a leading Chinese solar company, has distributed food packages among needy Muslims in three different cities of Pakistan. The distribution took place in three cities including Islamabad, Lahore, and Karachi on April 14 (Jumat-ul-Wida), when Ramadan climbed to its spiritual climax in the holiest month of the year.

“Ramadan is the most important festival for Muslims, LONGi takes a Ramadan food distribution in Pakistan's three major cities,” said an official statement of the company, adding that except for solar PV products, the “locals feel love and warmth from LONGi”.

As a solar panel supplier with a cumulative shipment of more than 1GW in Pakistan, LONGi is committed to taking corporate “social responsibility and contributing to society as much as possible”.

Besides LONGi, other Chinese companies also distribute rations among their local employees. Earlier, Zong 4G announced all-new affordable international calling bundles for Saudi Arabia in the month of Ramadan. This initiative has been taken to create meaningful connections and reflects the company’s dedication to respecting the religion of its customers and meeting their evolving needs.

Similarly, Xiaomi’s Mi Pakistan store came with a mind-boggling sale to celebrate the festivities that come along with the month of Ramadan. “Mi Pakistan has once again proved that it really cares for its fans by announcing its special Mi Ramadan Offer at Mistore.pk and Mi Exclusive stores,” reads an official statement.
