The situation in Afghanistan has been a growing concern for the international community, especially neighboring countries. The efforts to address this crisis have been highlighted as promoting an inclusive and stable government in Afghanistan, leading to a political resolution to the conflict. As the crisis remains uncertain, it is vital for all parties to work together to achieve lasting peace and stability in Afghanistan and the broader region.

In light of this, Chinese Foreign Minister Qin Gang put forward a four-point proposal to deal with Afghanistan's issues and promote security and stability in the region while attending the fourth foreign ministers' meeting among neighboring countries of Afghanistan in the Uzbek city of Samarkand. It is a commendable effort that deserves support from the international community.

The plan is a critical step towards achieving regional stability, which is crucial for China's security and economic interests. However, the success of the plan depends on how effectively it is implemented and whether all stakeholders are willing to cooperate.

The plan's emphasis on counterterrorism cooperation is essential since Afghanistan has been a breeding ground for international terrorism for many years. Neighboring countries like Iran, Pakistan, and Russia can play a crucial role in preventing cross-border terrorist operations and promoting a more secure and stable Afghanistan.

The plan's focus on promoting economic development is also significant since it can help support economic growth and stability in Afghanistan, which is essential for its long-term stability.

What sets China apart is its emphasis on mutual cooperation and respect for the Afghan people's right to determine their own future. China's foreign policy principle of non-interference is reflected in its four-point proposal for promoting peace and stability in Afghanistan, which calls for regional cooperation and support for Afghanistan's sovereignty, independence, and self-determination. China's expertise in infrastructure development can also play a significant role in supporting economic growth and stability in Afghanistan.

Overall, China's four-point proposal is a significant step towards restoring peace in the war-torn country. The plan aims to tackle the root causes of instability and terrorism by addressing issues such as regional cooperation, counterterrorism, infrastructure development, and promoting inclusive governance.

The success of the proposal will depend on the cooperation of all stakeholders, including the Afghan government, neighboring countries, and the international community. Therefore, it is imperative for all parties to work together to support China's efforts in promoting peace and stability in Afghanistan.
