PowerChina staff in Pakistan celebrate Spring Festival
GUJRANWALA, Feb. 1 (Gwadar Pro) - The staff of PowerChina in Pakistan celebrate the Chinese Spring Festival with various activities.
“During the Spring Festival, the project department organized various holiday activities to give employees an unforgettable Chinese New Year in a lively and happy way,” said the power construction company in a tweet.

To celebrate the Year of Rabbit, PowerChina Pakistan Branch Office has already prepared various gifts for the employees.
PowerChina Pakistan's employees at the Nandipur power plant also planned a series of activities to celebrate the Chinese New Year with festive red lanterns, a reunion dinner, exciting bonfire shows and various games.

Talking to Gwadar Pro, an employee at Nandipur power plant said, “Chinese New Year in Pakistan is a unique affair, as the years go on, the bond continues to be strengthened between the Chinese community in Pakistan and the Pakistani nation. For those who cannot go home, thanks to the internet for keeping everyone connected and close.”
Millions of Chinese around the world travelled home to celebrate the traditional spring festival – The Chinese lunar New Year. The preparations that began weeks earlier include reminiscing the indigenous rituals which strengthen the bond of Chinese at home and abroad.

Chinese New Year which started on January 21st this year was celebrated with great zeal and zest in Pakistan since the Chinese have become a growing community that holds much significance. Various diplomatic and cultural events were held for celebration.
