China strongly condemns mosque attack in Peshawar: FM Spokesperson
BEIJING, Feb. 1 (China Economic Net) - China has strongly condemned the deadly blast in a mosque in Peshawar, Pakistan on Monday, that left over 100 deaths and over 200 injured.
“We are shocked by the incident and strongly condemn this attack. ” said Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Mao Ning on a regular press conference Tuesday.
“China is against all forms of terrorism and we firmly support Pakistan’s efforts to fight terrorism, defend national stability, and protect people’s lives and safety ,” Mao noted.
“We mourn deeply for the victims and offer our heartfelt sympathy to the injured and the families who have lost loved ones”, she added.
According to the latest reports, the deadly blast has been identified by Pakistan as a terrorist attack.
