Pakistani steel company hosted Chinese New Year event

ISLAMABAD, Jan. 29 (Gwadar Pro) - “Pak-China steel industry cooperation is of great significance to expanding construction scale, optimizing the economic structure and improving people’s livelihood in Pakistan. CPEC projects are a game changer for Pakistan and FF Steel is delighted to be part of the construction projects from large Dams to other infrastructure initiatives,” highlighted Chairman FF Steel Senator Nauman Wazir.

Pakistan’s leading and fast growing steel manufacturing company FF Steel on Saturday celebrated the Chinese New Year, culminating in the presence of top management from Chinese enterprises working in Pakistan on CPEC and other infrastructure projects, as well as key representatives of renowned Pakistani companies. It serves as an important platform to share Chinese culture, including strengthening FF Steel's business ties with major Chinese commercial enterprises.

While acknowledging the efforts of Chinese investors and teams, the senator also emphasized that the country is passing through tough times and it is imperative that we work as a team to bring about great results not only for our enterprises but also for our countries. He added that, “Pak-China friendship is time-tested and it is our duty to further strengthen it. Technology is constantly changing and FF Steel is embracing the latest technologies and techniques to improve the quality of its products and will contribute towards nation building and strengthening Pak-China relationship.”

The participants appreciated the steel company for holding such an event on the Chinese New Year. Dr Hassan Daud Butt, Senior Advisor of FF Steel lauded the efforts of Chinese enterprises in Pakistan’s development and encouraged more enterprises to invest in Pakistan in the construction sector and take benefit from CPEC in terms of revenue, diversification, and forging relationships that are strong as well as establishing an enduring bond.

Badar uz Zaman, Chief Sales Officer of FF Steel and former Pakistan Commercial Counsellor in China highlighted that CPEC is an important initiative that Pakistan must use to its advantage and more Chinese enterprises should invest in Pakistan under CPEC framework.
