CCECC declared winner bidder for CAREC-Tranche ll Project

ISLAMABAD, Dec. 2 (Gwadar Pro) - National Highway Authority (NHA) on Thursday declared M/s China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC) the most advantageous bidder for Central Asia Regional Economic Cooperation (CAREC) Corridor Development Investment Program- Tranche ll Project.

With a bid of Rs. 11,275,800,000, CCECC was declared the lowest and most successfully evaluated bidder by NHA. As per the official documents, an additional carriageway from Shikarpur to Rajanpur of N-55 (221.95 Km) under one package comprising four lots while the Lot-2 includes Kandhkot-Kashmore Section [Km 105+820 to Km 164+600 (58.78 KM)].

The project is being financed by Asian Development Bank (ADB); therefore, the procurement was carried out in line with ADB’s procurement guidelines; the bidding was done on the Single Stage Two Envelope Procedure.
