Experts praise CPC's human-friendly policies, a way forward to modernization

BEIJING, Oct. 19 (China Economic Net) - Pakistani experts believe that  human-friendly policies of the Communist Party of China (CPC) is the key success of China's rapid development of modernization.

Shakeel Ahmad Ramay, Chief Executive Officer of the Asian Institute of Eco-civilization, Pakistan, expressed his views on the ongoing 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China.

Shakeel Ahmad Ramay told China Economic Net that the CPC leadership always keeps all the economic and development policies focused on the people and the development of the people. “They always concentrate on how development can bring a positive change in the life of the people and that's a success,” he noted.

“I think the Chinese government and the CPC leadership not only focus on human, but they also equally focus on the environment. That's why their forest cover has increased,” he mentioned, adding that China's mass greening projects have made remarkable achievements over the years and increased forest resources have boosted the country's green economy.

He said that during the last decade the Chinese people’s life standard has been improved, their education level has increased, and their life expectancy has enhanced. The life expectancy of Chinese citizens rose to 78.2 years in 2021, compared with 35 years in 1949,“ which is the result of human-friendly policies,” he added. 

He further said that keeping a balance between nature and human is an important pillar of the Chinese modernization process where the Chinese leadership always mentioned that there is a need for harmony between human and nature.

"China's growing towards modernization carries so many lessons to the world, especially when we have to tackle contemporary challenges like poverty, climate change, and environmental degradation," he told CEN.

Dr. Mehmood Ul Hassan Khan, Executive Director of Center for South Asia & International Studies (CSAIS) Islamabad, told China Economic Net that  CPC paved the way for the Chinese people to the rapid development toward modernization and the ongoing national congress of CPC would focus on friendly policies not only for Chinese but also for foreigners.

He said that despite COVID-19, the Chinese economy showed strong resilience, great potential and robust vitality.

“CPC always emphases on qualitative growth, green development, integrated policies to combat climate change, and China’s strong commitment towards regional peace and stability is commendable,” he stated. 

Mehmood further said that the world is looking to learn socialism with Chinese characteristics in the modern era.
