Pakistan’s imports from China decreased by 15% in July

ISLAMABAD, Aug.13 (Gwadar Pro) - Pakistan’s imports from China decreased by 15% in July 2022 as compared to the corresponding month in the previous financial year.

According to the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan’s (TDAP) latest report, the country’s imports in July 2022 were recorded at US$ 1315.37 million which is 15% less than US$ 1,563.75 million imports during July 2021. The downward trajectory is a positive sign for the country’s foreign reserves.

The value of the country’s imports from all partner states of the world in July 2022 is US$ 4,861 million which is 12.81% less than July 2021’s US$ 5,575 million.  

Pakistan’s exports to China in July 2022 were US$ 125.49 million which is 36% less than the corresponding month in FY 2021-22.

Pakistan’s exports to all destinations of the world including China in July 2022 have been recorded at US$ 2,219 million which is 5% less than the US$ 2,340 million exports during July 2021.
