Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif on one-day visit to Gwadar

GWADAR, June 24 (Gwadar Pro) - Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif arrived in Gwadar on a one-day visit on June 24.

Acting Governor Balochistan Jan Muhammad Jamali and Chief Minister Balochistan Abdul Qaddos Bazenjo along with provincial ministers gave a warm welcome to the Prime Minister.

After visiting Gwadar Port, the Prime Minister met local fishermen at Gwadar Business Center. At the ceremony, the Prime Minister witnessed the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between Gwadar Development Authority and Indus Hospital.

"We are delighted to now be partnering with the Government of Balochistan through Gwadar Development Authority’s support towards the construction of a world-class hospital in Gwadar," IHHN issued in a statement.

The statement further discloses the aim of providing high-quality and compassionate care. Gwadar Development Authority (GDA) and Indus Hospital & Health Network (IHHN) will transform the lives of thousands of patients, advancing progress for families and communities who are desperately need it.

The MoU displays a commitment to the development of free-of-cost health facilities hospital in Gwadar. "We always go into a partnership on free-of-cost health facilities for the people of Pakistan,"  Syed Mashood Rizvi from IHHN told the reporter.

The Prime Minister also addressed the gathering.

A delegation of Federal Ministers, Ministers of State and Special Assistants accompanied the Prime Minister.
