CMPak Zong TV app attracting millions in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: “Zong TV”, a video streaming service APP provided by China Mobile Pakistan (CMPak), has become one of the top choices for Pakistanis to watch local and international TV channels. The Zong app is popular amongst both young and old people to watch 40+ live TV channels including news headlines, talk-shows and dramas.

“Usually due to household activities, I miss my favourite dramas; the Zong App provides an opportunity to watch the missed episode at a relaxing time,” Shumaila, a housewife told Gwadar Pro. She also highly rates the ‘recording’ option of the Zong App that allows users to record their favourite segments and save in their mobile sets.

Zahir Hasnain is a cricket enthusiast and he loves watching matches and top Pakistani sports shows. ‘Cricket Stat’, ‘Daily Rewind’ and ‘Fantopia’ are his favorite programs on the app.

Talha Rashid, a student of political science, is interested in talk shows. “Two of my favourite shows run on different channels at the same time, so the Zong TV app provides me an opportunity to watch them one by one due to the recording option,” he said.
