BEIJING, Dec 20 (China Economic Net) – The first China-Pakistan co-produced animated film Allahyar and the Legend of Markhor premiered in Beijing-based ZYED Cinema on December 19th.

While addressing the event, Pakistani Ambassador to China Moin ul Haque remarked that the movie is unique to both countries because it is the first-of-its-kind film co-production between the two countries, and it is shown during the 70th anniversary of China-Pakistan diplomatic ties.
 
Haque noted the markhor-featured animated film sends an important message of environment and nature protection and showcases some valuable preservation measures, adding that more such co-production is welcome to foster mutual understanding and enhance people-to-people exchanges.

In his speech, Liu Chun, general manager of China Film Co-production Company (CFCC), mentioned the movie, which took four years to complete, serves as a model for future film cooperation between the two countries and that CFCC will facilitate such collaboration.
 
While talking to China Economic Net (CEN) on the occasion, Zhang Jilei, general manager of Xi'an Bailu Fenghe Tourism Culture Communication Co., LTD, and one of the major Chinese producers of the film, revealed that he was happy to see the successful premiere of the film. “We are interested in co-producing more films with our Pakistani counterparts. And hopefully we can explore and make a feature film for our future cooperation,” Zhang told CEN.

To appreciate the contributions of producers and individuals of the film, Haque conferred certificates of appreciation to ten Chinese and Pakistani producers and partners of the movie.
 
Supported by the State Film Administration of China and assisted by the Pakistani Embassy in China and China Film Co-production Corporation (CFCC), Allahyar and the Legend of Markhor was co-produced by Xi'an Bailu Fenghe Tourism Culture Communication Co., LTD., Xinying Jiayin (Xinyi) Film Culture Development Co., LTD., Danxi Pictures (Xiamen) Culture Media Co., LTD., and 3rd World Studios (Pakistan).
 
The premiere was also attended by Zhang Jilei, general manager of Xi'an Bailu Fenghe Tourism Culture Communication Co., LTD., Zhang Shengyao, general manager of Xinying Jiayin (Xinyi) Film Culture Development Co., LTD., and Guo Meiqing, director of Danxi Pictures (Xiamen) Culture Media Co., LTD., members from the Pakistani Embassy in China.
 

The film will be set for theatrical release across the Chinese mainland on December 25.
