GB is a gateway to China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and Jaglot-Skardu Road is a major link between KKH and Skardu. The opening of this road will boost tourism and economic activities in the region and beyond.
The Government had initiated the “Upgradation and Widening of Jaglot-Skardu Road (167 km)”, which the Prime Minister inaugurated today.
Beside Jaglot-Skardu Road, Prime Minister Imran Khan also inaugurated Skardu International Airport. “Big thing has happened in Skardu today; these projects will change the life of local people and I can imagine it,” said the Prime Minister while addressing a public rally.
