Ambassador invites NORINCO Group to expand business in Pakistan

SHANGHAI, Nov. 7 (China Economic Net) - Ambassador of Pakistan to China, Mr. Moin Ul Haque on Friday invited The China North Industries Group Corporation (NORINCO) to avail favorable facilities provided by Pakistan under China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) for Chinese investors during his talks with the Lui Dashan, President of NORINCO Group in Shanghai.

Ambassador met with Mr. Lui Dashan, President of NORINCO Group in Shanghai and both sides exchanged views on further enhancing cooperation.

Ambassador Haque said that Pakistan valued its long partnership with NORINCO. He invited the company for exploring investments in the oil and gas, housing, railways, and mining sectors of Pakistan. The two sides would remain engaged to further enhance mutual cooperation.

NORINCO is a leading Chinese enterprise specializing in a wide range of military and civilian products. It has a strong presence in Pakistan and is executing many important defense and civilian projects. It had also built the Lahore Orange Line Metro Train.
