Trade between Pakistan and China to be further deepened

BEIJING, 9th Jun, (Gwadar Pro) – On 8th, the six-day Beijing International Trade Fair (South Asia Fair), initiated by Beijing Municipal Commerce Bureau (BMCB) and Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC), is concluded in Beijing. 10 Pakistani enterprises participated in the event as important guests.

On this occasion, a batch of enterprises from South Asia, including Pakistan, expressed their willingness to deepen trade ties with Beijing enterprises and chambers of commerce. The fair focused on the three areas of health care, smart equipment and new energy, introducing advantages of bilateral products and industries, promoting trade cooperation between Beijing and South Asian countries.

At the opening ceremony on 2nd Jun, BMCB and ICBC signed a cross-border cooperation agreement. According to the agreement, ICBC will constantly support foreign investment, inclusive finance and other key areas of investment and financing, and provide a full range of financial services for bilateral enterprises.

At the same time, several Chinese and Pakistani enterprises also have reached preliminary cooperation intentions and signed MOU in the form of cloud signing at the ceremony.
