ISLAMABAD, July 24 (Gwadar Pro) – Senator Muhammad Farogh Naseem of Muttahida Qaumi Movement took oath as law minister for third time on Friday.

President Dr Arif Alvi administered the oath to Farogh Naseem in a ceremony held at the Aiwan-e-Sadr, according to APP.  
Farogh Naseem, born in Karachi, is a Pakistani politician and lawyer. He had had about 18 years of experience in legal practice by 2008, according to the Dawn.

As a member of the board of studies, faculty of law, University of Karachi, he has been teaching law at the Sindh Judicial Academy, S.M. Law College and Hamdard Law College.

He has previously served as Advocate General of Sindh.    
In March 2012, Farogh Naseem was elected to the Senate of Pakistan from Sindh against technocrats’ seat. In March 2018, he was re-elected on general seat from Sindh. 
On 20 August 2018, he was sworn in as Federal Minister of Law and Justice in the federal cabinet of Prime Minister Imran Khan. 
Farogh Naseem resigned in November 2019 and represented the government in a case regarding Army Chief Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa's tenure extension in the Supreme Court. 
In the same year, Farogh Naseem was again sworn in as Federal Minister of Law and Justice in Prime Minister Imran Khan’s administration.  
Farogh Naseem resigned in June 1, 2020, and represented the Federal Government in Justice Qazi Faez Isa's case in Supreme Court.   
Farogh Naseem has completed his graduation in Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Wales, Master of Laws (LLM) from the London School of Economics and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in comparative constitutional law from the University of London. He qualified as a barrister from Lincoln’s Inn.
