PESHAWAR, Pakistan, April 25 (Xinhua) -- People in northwest Pakistan's Peshawar are preparing traditional sweets to celebrate the fastbreaking Eid al-Fitr festival, also dubbed as "the festival of sweets," which signifies the end of Ramadan.
It is a Pakistani tradition to enjoy sweets during the Eid festival, and local shops are jammed with customers aroused by the festive and aromatic treats ranging from rice pudding, bread pudding, to sweet confectionery.
