Gwadar University students awarded with Chinese Ambassador Special Scholarship
GWADAR, Mar.15, (Gwadar Pro)- The University of Gwadar (UG) has awarded more than 20 students studying in various disciplines with the Chinese Ambassador Special Scholarship. To bridge the gender gap, almost half of the scholarship recipients are female students at the university.
During a ceremony held on Monday, Chinese Ambassador Special Scholarship award letters were distributed among the successful students. The Chinese Charge d'Affaires to Pakistan, Ms. Pang Chunxue, congratulated the students via video message.
Vice Chancellor UG Professor Dr. Abdul Razzaq Sabir, while congratulating the successful candidates, expressed gratitude to the Chinese Ambassador for their generous donation towards providing scholarships to the students of UG and also appreciated the support and generosity made by the Chinese Ambassador for the students of the university to "pursue their future dreams for higher education".
According to Mr. Sabir, the scholarship has opened the door to opportunities for the young generation to excel academically and achieve their future goals. "I hope the pregame will be continued in the future to support more students who are waiting for such kind of contributions to attain their future goals," said the Vice-Chancellor.
On this occasion, the Chinese acting ambassador paid the highest respect to the teachers who trained the outstanding students. "Youth carries the hope of the country and nation; I sincerely hope that every young student in Gwadar will have a bright future and contribute their light and heat to the prosperity and development of the country and the progress of civilization," she added.
The director of financial aid and scholarships, Shayhaq Ali, also acknowledged the Chinese ambassador for their generosity. "The scholarship will help the students academically and professionally and will push them to pursue their passions and make a positive impact in their communities," he said.
