Thousands of patients treated at Zong-supported medical camps

ISLAMABAD,Oct.5(Gwadar Pro) - Zong 4G, in coordination with Sehat Kahani and the Government of Sindh, has established medical camps in the flood-hit areas of the province, assisting people in dire need of medication and consultation.

As per details, during phase 2 of the flood relief mission, these partners are covering areas that are still deprived of help. So far, thousands of patients have been treated in these medical camps. In the aftermath of the floods, gastroenteritis and other diseases have broken out in food-affected areas of the southern province of Sindh.

The first medical examinations of the patients were conducted in Jacobabad-Village Tilan Brohi Tehsil Garhi Khero. The camps are well equipped with medicines, first aid supplies, and expert doctors. Now, the camps have been extended to other affected areas of rural Sindh.

“We’ll continue to work towards our mission and provide as much aid as we can to the flood affectees,” according to an official statement, adding that there are people who have lost everything and are still battling for their lives, suffering from multiple water-borne and other diseases that are prevalent in flood-stricken areas.

According to an official statement of Zong, by leveraging its industry-leading partnerships with various CSR partners in the areas of E-health and Tele-medicine, Zong 4G is committed to continuing working for the rehabilitation and relief of flood-affected people across the country in this time of need. The company had previously partnered with Sehat Kahani to provide more than 12000 health sessions to the underprivileged during the COVID Pandemic.
