CPEC-centered subjects available soon in University of Gwadar

GWADAR, Sept. 19 (Gwadar Pro) - In a major development, CPEC-related subjects are being planned to be taught in University of Gwadar, offering students opportunity to learn more about China-Pakistan Eoonomic Corridor.

This was disclosed by University of Gwadar vice chancellor Prof Dr Abdul Razzaq while chairing the 2nd academic council meeting of University of Gwadar. "Given the international and geographical dynamics of CPEC, students of University of Gwadar deserve to learn and study CPEC's indispensability, benefits and impacts," he revealed.

Linking to CPEC-centered subjects, University of Gwadar students will also be equipped with knowledge of branch of learning including marine affairs, aqua life, science & technology, logistics, trade, commerce and economy.

He said that efforts are afoot to uplift University of Gwadar to international level at the earliest. The important meeting was participated by University of Gwadar Vice Chancellor Prof Dr. Syed Manzoor Ahmed, Registrar Dolat Khan, Director Finance Shafi Muhammad, Acting Controller Examination & Chairman Commerce Department Mujahid Hussain, Dean Faculty of Management Sciences, Commerce & Social Sciences Dr Jaan Muhammad, Dean Faculty of Science, Engineering & Technology Dr. Dhani Buksh Talpur, Chairman Management Sciences Dept Fida Hussain, Chairman Education Dept Mukhtar Bashir, Chairman Commuter Sciences Dept Hafiz Ullah, Lecturer Education Dept Madam Shahnaz Noor, Lecturer M Gull and Librarian Ghulam Sarwar.

The university has formally been operationalized and started functioning as a full-fledged autonomous university as University of Gwadar soon after the appointing of a Vice Chancellor by Governor Balochistan on 25th October, 2021. Earlier it remained a Sub Campus of University of Turbat from September, 2016 to October, 2021.
