Chinese Ambassador welcomes China-Pak parliamentary cooperation

ISLAMABAD, Sept. 9 (Gwadar Pro) – Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan, Nong Rong has welcomed Pak-China parliamentary cooperation in a recent meeting with Speaker of National Assembly Raja Pervaiz Ashraf. 

In a tweet on Thursday the Chinese Ambassador welcomed the legislative bodies of China and Pakistan to deepen the exchanges and cooperation. NA Speaker also urged to further expand parliamentary cooperation between the two countries.

The enhanced economic cooperation through parliamentary collaboration would give impetus to the existing bilateral relations.

Speaker of NA said that China had always proved that friendship between the two countries was exemplary. Both countries had extended support to each other at critical junctures both at local and international fora.
While commenting on promoting parliamentary cooperation between the two states, the Speaker underscored the importance of regular parliamentary exchanges.

Such interactions would help in learning from parliamentary experiences of each other and create mutual opportunities under CPEC.
The Speaker also conveyed his condolences on recent earthquake in China which took away many precious lives apart from damaging infrastructure.

He also assured the envoy that Pakistan was fully cognizant of its responsibilities to protect and provide conducive working conditions to Chinese brethren living in the country and no one would be allowed to sabotage bilateral relations between the two states.
