·         Market remained negative on the last trading day with KSE-100 losing 80 points. The index closed at 47,034.44.

·         The Market is likely to remain range bound over the next few days over the concerns of  further increase in policy rate by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) in its monetary policy announcement, due later this month.

Yield of three-month T-bills hiked by 25bps

The cut-off yields on three-month treasury bills (T-bills) were further increased by 25 basis points in the auction on Wednesday, leading to a 127-basis point increase since the last monetary policy announced in August.



PM unveils Rs120bn relief package

Prime Minister Imran Khan on Wednesday announced a Rs120 billion relief package providing subsidy on essential food items but warned people of another increase in petroleum prices in the near future.
