“While Pakistan and China has been always coordinating closely, this platform will further benefit bilateral enterprises and China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) by providing commercial meditation, investors’ training, and cutting-edge technologies”, praised Zamir Ahmed Awan, Deputy Director, Center for Chinese Studies, National University of Science and Technology, Pakistan, and Former Science and Technology Counsellor, Embassy of Pakistan in China in his exclusive interview with China Economic Net (CEN). He also encouraged more enterprises to join CPEC and promote its high-quality development.

Chen Kewen, Secretary General of Asian Financial Cooperation Association proposed three dimensions to construct diversified investment and financing systems and comprehensive financial service systems to support BRI commercial cooperation. First, matchmaking and financing of specific projects shall be facilitated through special sessions and seminars can be held on the difficulties or demands of relevant member companies in BRI countries. Secondly, international dialogues should be enhanced among organizations across different sectors and regions. Thirdly, platforms should be built to pool resources and explore the construction of an asset transaction platform for BRI countries.

Yan Jindong, Deputy Director, Bureau of People's Participation and Promotion of the Rule of Law, Ministry of Justice expressed that the Ministry is ready to provide legal support in cross-border commercial dispute settlement. Lin Wei, vice president of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, emphasized the need to intensify the protection of intellectual property rights and data security.

It is learned that now the host of the event, Belt and Road Legal and Commercial Service Center, has over 500 mediators from China and other countries, who have processed about 7000 cross-border cases so far. The Center has been hosting forums of this kind for six consecutive years, witnessing the progress of the international business meditation mechanism.
