Three Gorges Second Wind Power Project, located at Jhimpir, Thatta District, Sindh Province, 90KM west from Karachi, was an actively promoted project in CPEC.

With a total installation capacity of 150,000 kilowatts, its annual electricity output of 430 million kilowatts can meet the needs of 1.5 million local households for about a year.
